AEAF attack airfield Leeuwarden
Two Mosquito's did not return. They were members of the 151 and 605 Sqn.
F/L Whitten-Brown, pilot and F/L Victor Brewis the navigator crashed near Scharwoude in the IJsselmeer. Their target was the airfield of Leeuwarden.
Added a picture of F/L Victor Brewis, a Mosquito navigator with 605 Squadron. He was killed, with his pilot F/L Arthur Whitten-Brown, on 6 June 1944 on an intruder mission.
