On 1940-10-05, Pilot T Nowierski (Flying Officer, RAF) with servicenumber P-76803 flew a Spitfire I with serial N3223 PR-M for this duty: Patrol. His mission was not completed. Circumstances of the aircraft loss: During a patrol flying over Salisbury had trouble with the undercarriage (failed on return from the patrol) and was forced to bale out. He did so over Salisbury Plain, the aircraft crashed at Chisenbury. This aircraft was a part of squadron no. 609. The location for the map is East Chisenbury, United Kingdom. Circumstances at the end of this mission for Nowierski: he was safe. There is no commemoration location known.
