"Port Winston", as Mulberry B came to be known, is off the coast of Arromanches, Normandy.
At this time, the damaged sections from the massive storm several weeks after the D-Day invasion, had been replaced by salvaged sections from the American Mulberry harbor, Mulberry A, which was too damaged to be fully rebuilt.
