An Artist and athlete Richardson Elizabeth volunteerd for the American Red Cross in 1944 and spent the next year supporting American troops in Europe. Se gave his life for our freedom on Wednesday 07 July 1945, only a few month after Germany was defeated. While flying to the Red Cross HQ in Paris, her plane crashed in the fog near Rouen. 

Richardson is one of the four civilians buried at the Normandy American Cemetery
