Het is misschien niet raar om te zeggen dat Morrell succes had waar Von Stauffenberg faalde. Namelijk in het vermoorden van een gezonde Hitler. En dode Hitler had door een competent iemand vervangen kunnen worden, maar een zieke drugsverslaafde als hoofd van de nazi's, was misschien veel beter voor het beëindigen van de oorlog.
