1st Battalion, Highland Light Infantry move to Martigny

On 16th August 160th Infantry Brigade took over the area we had captured and began to mop up and extend it, while the Scots Greys supported 1st Bn. Highland Light Infantry on a cross-country move to Martigny and beyond. They continued to support them on the following day in seizing the high wooded ridge south-west of Falaise. nbsp;
