Mosquito IX (LR477 GB-) on a mission to Leverkusen on 1943-11-24

On Tuesday, 23 November 1943, (a part of) the aircraft of the 105 squadron (RAF), took off for a mission to Leverkusen in Germany from a station (airfield) in or near Marham.
One of the crew members was Flying Officer A G Fleet. He departed for his mission at 17:49.
He flew with a Mosquito (type IX, with serial LR477 and code GB-). His mission and of the other crew members was planned for Wednesday, 24 November 1943. The plane crashed on return to base from operations to Leverkusen.

Information by Helen Gunton: one of the crew members was relative and navigator Eric Wade. 

Decorated with the British Empire medal at a recent investiture was a Keighley airman, Sergeant - Pilot Eric Wade, R.A.F., of Malsis Road, Keighley, who was formerly a member of the Post Office Telephones staff in Bradford. His award for courageous action when Sergeant Wade rescued the wireless operator from the blazing fuselage of a plane, another petrol tank of which exploded a few moments after he had dragged the man clear."
