On 1943-05-27, Pilot J M Fusinski (Flying Officer, PAF) with servicenumber P.1719 flew a Mosquito II with serial DZ758 for this duty: Intruder. His mission was not completed. Circumstances of the aircraft loss: Took off on a Night Intruder Operation on the German Fighter Base at Vechta, South-South-West of Bremen, Germany. Both men were killed when their aircraft crashed near Soegeln. After the war their bodies were exhumed from their temporary graves and re-buried at Rheinburg. This aircraft was a part of squadron no. 307. The location for the map is Vechta Germany. Circumstances at the end of this mission for Fusinski: he was killed. He is commemorated at: Rheinberg British Military Cemetery Germany.
