Your Contribution Matters!

The war ended just 8 years and 11 months before I was born—a brief time in history. Yet, I was born into freedom. Just 10 years earlier, countless people had suffered and died.

This stark reality is the driving force behind my work in creating WW2 History Europe. It is dedicated to honoring the sacrifices of the men and women who fought for our freedom, beginning with their daring mission on the beaches of Normandy, June 6th, 1944.

But the fight wasn’t only on the beaches. My own family endured unimaginable suffering in Japanese and German camps. They rarely spoke of it, but as I uncovered fragments of their stories, I felt a deep responsibility. A responsibility not to fight, but to learn. To gain knowledge—not just for myself but for my children, and for yours too.

By understanding what happened—both in my environment and yours—I hope we can all care more deeply. Care for our loved ones, our families, and our shared humanity.
