WWII paratrooper (G Company / 506th PIR / 101st Airborne Division) Jim "Pee Wee" Martin returned to Normandy in early June, 2013 to retrace his experiences in 1944 as a member of the Allied forces. Jim Martin jumped into Normandy on D-Day landing just north of Sainte Come du Mont at 12:35 AM. He fought for 33 days in the Normandy campaign before his unit was withdrawn to England in early July
