Description
From 0200 to 0400 8 June, a halt was made for reorganisation. Then turning West on the highway to Isigny, the 1st battalion passed through and captured La Cambe about 09h00. Outside La Cambe, the column was attacked and strafed by aircraft bearing allied insignia at 0930. Six men were killed, 10 wounded.nbsp;
